If you’re in the greater New England area, FedEX will deliver your order. If you are in Vermont, our overnight courier is Green Mountain Messenger. Packages will be left at your doorstep in an insulated box with freezer packs. All meat is delivered frozen for food safety. Please get it into your freezer as soon as possible.
What time is the order cut off?
Ordering ends at midnight.
How do order estimates work?
Since most of our products are sold by the pound, your checkout total is just an estimate. By entering your credit card info, you give us permission to charge you. Once we pack your order, we charge your card based on the exact weight of your items. You'll receive an email with your payment details.
How much does delivery cost?
Local Delivery: Delivery is free for orders over $100. For any orders under $100, there is a $5 fee with a $40 minimum order.
Greater New England: Shipping is free - each box has a $12 handling charge which accounts for the box and packing materials. If your order goes beyond 1 box, we reserve the right to charge another box fee.
How will my meats be delivered?
To ensure food safety, your meats will arrive frozen (thawing is best when done slowly in the fridge). Local Delivery friends: Please note that it is your responsibility to leave a cooler and collect your order as soon as possible. If you’re in greater New England: shipped meats are frozen and carefully packaged in an insulated box with freezer packs so food stays frozen even if you’re not home when it is delivered.
Can I add products to my order?
We cannot make changes to your order once you hit confirm. If there is a serious concern then please reach out and we will see if we can make a change, but it’s very challenging for our fulfillment team. If you want more items, please place another order.
What if an item in my order is out of stock?
Please understand that Maple Wind Farm is a small farm, and not a large warehouse. Because of this, sometimes items can go out of stock quickly. If an item is unavailable after you’ve placed your order, the final total will be reduced and you won’t be charged for the out-of-stock item.
